2010 Sachs MadAss Scooter Review

2010 Sachs MadAss Scooter Review Read the full review at: Brand new and full of contradiction for 2010 is the Sachs MadAss 125. Its compact and agile, yet stout and wildly aggressive looking, sort of like a pissed-off badger. Sachs went with a different animal analogy, a wild donkey. They also went with a different adjective, mad meaning furious or deranged. That, my friends, is how they came up with this fantastically eyebrow raising name.

...anytime! The Sachs MadAss is one cool little scooter! I ride a Vespa P200. Rode it across the US last fall. Some would call that crazy, but oh well. Yes, it goes 55-65 m.p.h. No, I don't take it on the freeway.
I'll post the next ride, which won't be for a bit cause I am going out of town next weekend. I ride during the week too, if I am not working. Rode out to Tillamook on Memorial Day. That was a nice ride.
We have scooters and small displacement motorcycles that ride together on occasion, so you are welcome to join us whenever we ride.

    • Avoid like the plague.

Get a little Yamaha, Honda, Vespa - a recognisable brand (and not a cheap Chinese bike). They will be more reliable, easier to fix, hold their value better, and you can raid the
Advice? Just relax. Even a twist-and-go scooter is great fun to ride, as long as you're careful.

  • Avatar Natasha How feasible is a long-distance scooter trip on a 50cc scooter?
Apr 29, 2011 by Natasha | Posted in Other - Cars & Transportation

I would like to ride my scooter from Daytona, FL to Atlanta, GA solo. I have a 05 Retro 50cc scooter. How feasible is this idea and what tips do you have?

    • Well its 436 miles and your poor little scooter would be long dead before you ever got partway, you need a much bigger bike to go 6 hours or so at high speed comfortably and then, you have to turn around and go home on a small bike like a 250 your whole body would be buzzing when you stopped from the vibration of the handle bars. You need to find a better way to do it than your scooter, it will not make it sorry.
