This one is available to be fully restored only. It should be completed before Spring ..at least were hoping. If you are interested in this bike, contact us because we could move it up in the schedule of moped restoration so you are able to blast down the road by the time the snow is gone. The plan is to put this bike back to factory perfect condition with a fully rebuilt 505-1D engine, new painting, new graphics, cables, tires, etc, ….the list goes on and on! Full 30 day warranty on the entire moped. If you are familiar with vintage mopeds, then you know what a great fun these are with the 1D engine.

This will be an amazing ride when complete!

Of course our FA50s are nothing, they're for our 12 year old to ride around the campground. We have 3, she is restoring one, using parts from another, and the 3rd is the runner. 135cc isn't bad but more to my point, 16" wheels aren't that bad either. Bigger is better. I'd go 70mph on 16" wheels. But I still wouldn't call it "very fast"! I suppose it is relative. Scooter guys are always so defensive (except Amp)!
I would certainly ride that scooter of yours. But I sure as shit don't want to ride in the Vietnam I have seen in the crazy intersection/free-flowing traffic nightmare videos

Scooter in LA

Scooters aren't a very safe choice. LA City streets have potholes large enough to park a VW bug in - the small tires on a scooter are no match.
Consider getting a moped, or a scooter with at least 16" wheels. Anything that has more than 50cc will require motorcycle registration & license. Only those 50cc with 30mph restrictor may qualify as moped - check with the dealer, since 50cc scooters are now 4-stroke and have higher performance.

Note: This definition applies to many machines that are described by their manufacturers as scooters or mopeds. Whether the machine is a moped or a motorcycle, its operator must obey all traffic laws.
